Welcome to the Ice Diver course!  We have a beautiful winter this year, so it’s the perfect time to give ice diving a try.  During this course, you will learn the basics of ice diving in a safe and enjoyable manner, manage possible ice-diving emergencies, and much more.

You must be at least 18 years old, and hold a minimum of PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or CMAS P2 (or equivalent) certification.

The course requires a minimum of 3 dives.  The first dives will be held on the 5th of February, the follow-up dives will be the following Saturday, February 12th.  We decided on a -10C as a limit to call the dives, so if it gets colder than that, we will move the course to the following days.

Those who are members of the Finnish Divers’ Federation can do the course according to the Federation/CMAS curriculum, and those who are not can get a PADI certificate.
